Purpose:
- This coffee maker has a fancier way of brewing coffee. How this works is the water is at the bottom and the pressure pushes the water up, mixing the beans and the water. Then the pressure releases and the mixture drips back to the bottom. Using this type of brewing method develops a stronger scent and also heats the grounds and water mixture throughout the whole process. Most machines tell you to pour preheated water over the grounds, but this is heated the whole time.
Parts:
- Bottom glass-
- Where the water initially sits
- The coffee eventually is put into this part of the machine
- Upper glass-
- Where the siphon tube is
- Where the brewing takes place
- Burner-
- Heats the water
- Seal-
- Takes the job of being a vacuum in the lower vessel
- It is in use when the brewing is happening
- Filter-
- To separate the excess grounds
