Flavor:
- With this coffee shop, I realized that their coffee was sweeter than other shops I have been to; I got the same order again (an iced, almond milk, vanilla latte). Although it was fairly sweet—and the coffee flavor was more faint—the overall flavor was enjoyable. I think many new coffee drinkers would appreciate this coffee shop, since the bitter flavor of the coffee is not as evident as it would be at other coffee shops. That being said, there are many other drinks on the menu that may not have so much sweetener. They include sandwiches and salads along with some specialty drinks (apple cider, hot chocolate, london fog, etc). They also have a popular bakery, which I might go back and taste something from atsome point. Some other coffeedrinks they have ontheir menu are:
- Americanos
- Mocha
- Espresso
- Breve
- Cappuccino
- Turtle
- Eye Opener
- This is just espresso and coffee

Service:
- When walking into the Harbor, I was greeted with a “welcome” and a smile. The workers were also patient when I was deciding what to order, since it was my first time there and I wanted to explore the menu some more. I got my coffee quickly and they even brought the drink out to me instead of going up and getting it myself. The workers were kind, just as they are at mostly any other coffee shop. Nothing stood out to me, but at the same time, nothing about the service made me unhappy.
Atmosphere:
- When walking into this shop, you immediately feel welcomed. I was greeted very kindly by the workers too. There was a good amount of seating in this shop, with many tables to study at or just to converse. I noticed people using some plug-ins for their computers, which was a nice addition to have if you need to study or write a p
aper there. Something new I thought was a nice addition was the shelf of games they had on the wall. That is a unique thing I have not seen at any other shops and it just promotes people to put down their phones and talk or interact with one another.
History:
- There is only one of these coffee shops in Lincoln, and it is on 1265 South Cotner Blvd (68510). In researching the history of this coffee shop, there is not much to find. They are always inviting people to come and host events at their shop. Ontheirwebsite, you can find dates for those here. The Harbor is special to Lincoln, so there are no other Harbor’s in the U.S. As of right now they’re not expanding their business at the moment, but possibly in the future! For now, you will just have to visit this coffeehouse in the “small” city of Lincoln.
